Another Samyang, the 500mm f8 Mirror lens. At 1/200 sec this really should have been shot on a tripod, which explains the soft focus. Note the little "donut" highlightsmadeby the mirror lens, in this case they are caused by the water droplets on the window glass I was shooting through (another factor to reduce sharpness). This is not a particularly good lens but it is the cheapest 500mm out there, and it is well constructed and lightweight.

Looks like you and I are caught in the same, Ira.Should have been spring here now, but this is how it looked on my way to work this morning. My driveway, from the house to the public road, is 600 meters. Wanna give a hand with the shovel, mntngal?:G

What a wonderful view. Now that doesn't look so bad - just drive out in 4WD, that's all. Actually, the weatherman is talking about an inch or 2 of snow for my area tonight. The way things have been going this year, I'm not counting on it, but I am hoping that it'll happen. What would be even better is if we were to have 20 inches and get snowed in on a Friday! What could be better than that?

LOL! OK, you've got me there! By the way, my terrible luck is holding some more - the snow had just started when we had to leave for work. So instead of watching lovely white snowflakes falling, I'll watch the rain and hope that the snow doesn't melt before I get home tonight.

This is not my driveway, this is the public road. C'mon guys, some sympathy please!
