crash did you use this flash with the modeling light mode?i want to know how that wireless 2 flash system works.

Sorry André, I have been house sitting and my camera is at my dad's place, he is converting his old 35mm slides with it.

crash did you use this flash with the modeling light mode?i want to know how that wireless 2 flash system works.


Modelling Light? Sorry did I miss something?

sigma talks about a modeling light system for model shots. for evening out the picture in flash with a model.

As owner of the DG Super, the modeling feature is not the same as what the Pentax flash unit has (i.e. ability to set exposure based on a pre-flash). In the DG-Super all the modeling feature does isto shoot out a burst of flashes which illuminates the subject and enables the user to judge shadows. Not very useful...and sucks up battery power! I called Sigma Tech Support, and they confirmed that was the extent of the "modeling" flash.

I am generally happy with my DG-Super..exposures are perfect and distance coverage is impressive.

I know what that is, but I had only seen it on my SB800 on my work camera set up. I didn't realsie what it was that you were talking about with "modelling".
