WOW, I always knew that Kjell had one hell of a lineup, but to see it all lined up like that is quite impressive.

Nah, I got my medication and count on being back to work by Monday. If I'm OK enough, might even get some SA pictures processed during my boring day tomorrow.

Kjell, very sorry to hear of your mementos you brought back from Africa. Doesn't sound good. I have a coworker who just went on antibiotics for a tick bite this week. But, yours sounds much worse.

Wishing you well and a quick recovery. Looking forward to seeing your photos.

Me - I'm too embarrassed to post my equipment. I'll just continue to take my measly photos for the time being.

Kjell, hope it clears up fast, I find it interesting that they mention precautions, what are you supposed to do, live in a plastic bubble while there?

I like the idea of showing a picture of your collections since it always looks more impressive then just naming them. Some people, like Harriet (mtngal) have certainly come a long way since this thread began.

ok, here we go!

Body: Pentax *ist DL

SMC-M 50mm f2

Vivitar 28mm f2.8 Macro

Vivitar 135mm f3.5

Tamron 80-210mm f3.5-5.6

Cokin Filter system w/graduated fog, grad blue+2, grad green+1, grad sunset+2 and grad grey+2 and +4

1gig transcend 80x SD card

20gig Archos gmini 402 mp3/video/photo player - has usb bridge capability to download files directly from card reader.

Sunpak 9001UT (black BHphotovideo edition) Tripod

Apollo Atiba Jefferson Camera Backpack

current wants: Sigma 500 flash

10-17mm fisheye!

My how things have changed!

Currently:

K10D

*ist DL (note: not the one I had, which I originally sold, but got another for the wife - is it ok to add it on my list then???)

The lens lineup has rounded out nicely:

18-55mm kit

16-45mm f4 DA

10-17mm fisheye

50mm FA f1.7

Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 (I'm hoping to replace this with the 60-250mm f4 da* when/if it ever arrives, unless it is too cost-prohibitive for the CEO - but if she wants to go to hawaii, i think i'll have a strong case too, haha).

tamron 1.4x TC

K-mount adapter for my 1280mm f13 telescope (that was just for fun, really!)

Same backpack, still fits it all (except the telescope obviously)

Dynatran tripod w/ballhead

Sunpak flash

2x patriot high speed SD cards, 1gb standard sandisk card, 8gb transcend card

No-name IR filter from ebay seller 67mm for the 16-45mm

30gig ArchosAV500 mobile DVR/mp3/video/photo player - has usb bridge capability to download files directly from card reader

I'm almost totally satisfied with my lens lineup, if you couldn't tell I love shooting wide, but would really like the 60-250 to round out the lineup. thats everything i can think of at the moment. i need to get out more and use it all - i've been feeling uninspired lately, but i took some shots last weekend that i liked - and am getting a couple books on black and white and IR for christmas to get my juices flowing again.

Roy,
Yep, she uses them more then I do anymore, lol. You are crazy if you think we take them all with us, lol, we would need a small trailer for that!! Some are in my collection, although fully working and do get used.
