I'll also share the change in my kit (see p. 1 of this thread)...I got myself an FA 80-320mm zoom for Father's Day, and it's a super lens! I'm still getting used to trying to hand-hold the equivalent of 480mm, though...

lots of people dump off great sets of cokin systems they have lying around on ebay, they can be had so much cheaper there and i think they do the job quite well.

Won't take long and you will be looking for a bigger and bigger bag for all your newly aquired lenses and equipment...

OK, another update. I have been looking for a sturdy tripod, drooling over numerous Manfrotto models, when Roy put me on to Dynatran. Dynatran does tripods that look and work much like Manfrotto. They are marketed by Amvona (a company I have seen mixed reviews on but my experience was positive) and usually found on ebay. Well I tried for a model AT-858and didn't get it so I placed the same bid on a combo package including the tripod I wanted plus an absolutely huge backpack with laptop pocket. Anyhow to make a long story short I won this one at the same price I had bid on the tripod alone!!!
I now have a very large bag for storing just about everything and a sturdy tripod. The bag does not meet the quality of a Lowepro or Tamrac but it is decent, and is really a bonus since all I wanted was the tripod (which BTW cost me less than 1/2 the cost of a genuine Manfrotto and is more than adequate for my purposes.
Worth a look if you are on a tight budget like me, but beware the shipping costs are quite high (but I did receive it here in less than 4 business days).

Time to bump this one up again
Mine has changed quite a lot
Nikon EM (film)
Pentax *ist DL
For the Nikon:
-- an E-series 1.8 50mm. - Nice & sharp little lens.
-- I found a E-series 100mm f2.8 a few months ago while my grandfather was moving to a new apartment
-- a Tokina RMC 80-200mm f4. - One touch zoom, it's ok...
For the Pentax:
-- Pentax SMC-A 50mm f1.7 - my favourite lens...so sharp and fast... MF
-- DA 18-55mm f3.-5.6 - Kit lens we all know AF
-- <SOLD> Tokina SZ-X 210 N 70-210mm f4-5.6 - sold after I got something better
-- Tamron 28-200mm f3.8-5.6 XR (not the Di version) - My travel zoom, performs well enough for it's purpose. AF
-- Kiron 105mm f2.8 macro - Legendary lens, razorsharp and even fast enough to use at concerts. (yes, I use a macro lens at concerts...) MF
-- Pentacon 200mm f4 - an M42 lens, surprisingly good quality. Sharp and almost no CA. MF
-- Cosinon 35mm f2.8 - M42, not very sharp, I like the FOV, but rarely use it because of the lower optical quality... MF
-- Vivitar 400mm f5.6 - long lens I picked up for next to nothing. Terrible CA problems, I use it for birding due to a lack of something better MF
-- 2 set of macro extension rings, 1 K mount, 1 M42, fully manual
-- Soligor M42 2x teleconverter - horrible quality, never use it.
I throw all that in a Crumpler Shrinkle backpack, very pleased with it.
- a PTTL compatible flash.
- a Pentax FA 80-320mm to replace the 400mm. I know someone I could get it from for 150 euros...problem is I'm doubting beween that and the flash...
- a fast 28-70mm from either Tokina, Sigma or Tamron, to use at concerts
- a Zeiss 35mm f2.4 Flektogon M42 lens to replace the Cosinon... that or a Pentax 35mm
I'll post a picture later on
