Oh well,

I don't even come close to what others have here... but then - you are into this much more than me and for a longer time, too

I still have my Minolta 500si 35mm film camera in the drawer and my Oly C770 UZ digicam ready, but most of the photos I take nowadays come from:

- Pentax *ist DL2
- 18-55mm Kit lens for wide/indoor settings
- FA 28-105 IF as walkaround lens
- Tamron 70-300mm Macro lens for the lelephoto end and a bit of macro stuff
- a A 50/1.7 lens is on it's way to complete my collection in the low light area

Well - that's it. Plenty of stuff to use for me, I got a MZ-7 body too (came with the FA 28-105) and I am not the one to throw it away, can be a good backup system I reckon.

Wishlist:
I am not sure what else I need. Of course bright/sharp lenses look interesting, be it 1:1 macro lenses or mid-range zooms etc. or a good wide lens or wide zoom. But for now I'll first take some photos and see what my current equipment can do for me.

Happy snapping!

I do not think I should get another lens until I saw there is a chance to get DA40mm F2.8 Ltd.

Here is a list of my gears:
SP1000, SF1 ,K100D & DL, Zenitar 16mm F2.8, FA28mm F2.8, F50mm F1.7, FA100mm F2.8 Macro, FA135mm F2.8 , A* 300mm F4, Kenko TC 1.5X, 280T& AF360 Flash , Manfrotto 680B Monopod & 234RC head.

Ordered but got bumped for another 6 weeks: DA40mmF2.8 Ltd. Really unexpected from Henry of Toronto. When I finished the ordering, it was in stock. Somehow the last one was gone. What can I say. I will wait

A little update from me: since page 1 I have bought 2 lenses

Pentax SMC-F 35-135 mm f3.5-4.5 Not mediocre, but definitely not outstanding either. Travel lens, no disaster if I'm mugged and loose it.

PentaxSMC Shift 1:3.5 28mm. This lens is great fun, and really high quality. I plan to use it on weekend trips to Swedish towns for shooting churches and castles. I always wanted one, now I got it!

Wish list: K10D (of course) and a fast wider lens for indoors (Pentax FA 35 mm f2.0 or dream dream Limited 31 mm f 1.8). A light but super sturdy tripod for the 600 mm and a Lowepro 600 AW to carry the 600 m in the field. And of course that letter from an excentric multimillionaire who tells me he has chosen me as his only heir.

Hello Daniel;

I shot my whole "Diva" fashion story with the 40mm Limited. It is sooooo sharp and compact. Yes, I would definitely recommend it to you.

Cheers Ben

Ok. The fact that I am to have the lens does not mean that I have the model. If I have the model , it does not mean I have the skill to match. Equipment list does not mean much without the photographer

After going through at least a dozen lenses since last july (when i first got a DL), here is my equipment list currently:

K10d

18-55 kit

28-105mm f4 sigma

70-210mm f4 smc-a

50mm f1.7 smc-a

vivitar f5.6 400mm

2 backpacks to carry all that junk:

this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Apollo-Camera-Ba...QQcmdZViewItem

and this one: http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Back...puDaypack.aspx

I have a cheaper sunpak tripod, and recently picked up a giottos peapod, which i like quite abit though it is on the heavy side for a monopod. I also have a small collection of cokin grad and ND filters, which i usually use with the kit lens for landscapes and such. I have a delkin USB transfer device that i use to copy media to an mp3 player, and currently have 2 1gig patriot 133x cards and a slower but larger 8gig sdhc card, which is nice for the k10d's larger image files.

on the list of wants is the da 10-17mm fisheye, a pttl flash unit, and i'd probably trade all of the above for 1 or 2 of the new DA* lenses coming up. but i'm defintely satisfied with the lenses i have; perhaps a da 14mm or the 40mm pancake would be nice too, maybe if i had 2 jobs!
