Just got this an hour ago and can't wait to test run it.
If it works great, I save a bundle. It costs around Can$170 and I can return it with restocking fee of around Can$35. It came as a real surprise when I bought it. My wife went grocery shopping and to kill time I went into this neighouring small camerashop which happened to stock a brand new 2x converter for AF Pentax. They have a grand total of only 10 items Pentax amongst all the N & C stuff.

My question is whether it is a keeper?

Daniel

They look great to me. If there are any issues with sharpness they obviously do not appear at this image size. How do they look close up on the computer screen? Teleconverters can be great fun for extending your reach, especially when backing a sharp prime lens.

Ira,
Sorry I did not know photobucket has resized this way. I have done it again here see if it is better.

They look sharp to me ( although there are some colour issues that look like compression artifacts ). I think you have a keeper there.
