Yesterday was rainy on and off and the Chickadee was hanging on the house siding pecking at it, so I got the DS and AF500FTZ flash out and took a photo of him/her. Problem is, the birds reactions are so fast that it started to fly away from the flash going off and instead of a sharp image of it hanging on the house, I got this not so sharp image of it starting to fly off.

Now don't sell this one short - the claws are really sharp, and you've definitely captured the sense of motion well. I like it, though it isn't classically beautiful.

Mine isn't grey, it's platinum blonde streaks, right?

I like this pict a lot except for the missing top part.
The kid came out and I did not have time to pop my flash 420 into the G1. So it went and unkwown to me it went to f=2. Disaster as a lot of time it was either out of focus or only the background was in focus. Luck was on my side when her face was completely in focus. The camera was top of the canon's prosumer digicam and the lens is just amazing while in focus. More than half of the time it wasn't though.
In Canon forum 2002, it was said that the lens in G1 was an L lens.

See what you think.
