Just a quick try with new camera and RAW.

So many options, both on camera and on the CS2 RAW conversion. Just like being in the darkroom with no chemical smells!

Be nice in comments, but advice always sought and welcomed.

Course you can Roy. That's what it is there for.

I am here to learn from those who have more experience than me.

Fred. First thing I would do is to put the flower a bit further away from the wall, in order to get less and a less sharp shadow from the flash-

Roy. I think it's a bit to vivid in colour, Fred's original is closer to what it really looks like.

kjell,
that's me... that's how i see things. hi contrast and high satuation. it doesn't work well here because of the background.. but it's still me...

Thanks guys. I daresay we could have as many variations as we have members.

The point is very well made that the background should be further away, but That was me sitting on the sofa playing, and being to lazy to move things about.

Nice to see the vivid coulors that can be achieved though.

Back to the drawing board for some of these pics.
