Here in the south of the country we weren't that severely affected, but up north it still prevents people from enjoying fishing and picking mushrooms in some areas. No double-headed geese though.

Actually I was in Moscow the day it happened,for flight transit reasons. On the plane to Stockholm a guy showed two editions of "Pravda", the Russian and the international edition in English. He explained that the accident, which was briefly reported in the English version of the paper, wasn't even mentioned in the Russian edition! I don't have any pix from the occasion, as you weren't allowed to bring a working camera in the cabin. I guess it was to prevent the passengers to take spy photos of secret areas through the little windows.
