i just love shooting this guy. i used the M200 f4, with a 2x converter. all images were very flat. i shot them in raw but it took a lot just to get these poor pix.. i should have used the 300.. i wanted to see how well the combo worked as a working pair.. not up to par as far as i'm concerned.

in these 2 he's eating about a 4'' crawfish. you can't hardley tell tho, the pic quality is so bad.. won't be using this combo again.

i've wondered that myself kjell. i see the female every now and then(this guy is use tome) and she's a solid blue. what i'm thinking is that this is the mating season and they may be another color elsewhere when they are not here.. oh, thanks about the comment about the 'problem'.....
