Dr. C requested this. altho it's somewhere i'll do it again.. you can buy these on ebay for <20us delivered.

here's what you do,
take a twist in body cap,
drill a 1 1/4'' hole in it. a 1'' will probably suffice.

my 50mm prime that i wanted to reverse takes a 49mm filter.
get a stepup(better) or stepdown filter ring and glue it on the front of the body. BE SURE you adhere it with some very good adhesive. i used epoxy.
also be sure you glue it on with the ''male'' threads out so you can screw your lens onto it. the ring does not have to match the filter size of the lens but you will have to have another conversion ring to attach it.

attach the lens to the cam and close it down to f11-f? and you have a poorman's macro.

Thanks, Roy. I'll give that a try.

just be very careful if you aren't use to drilling holes in small objects..

oh, the first pic was w/a 50mm, the 2nd w/a 28mm. distance w/the 28 is about 1/2 inch..

edit: also be careful w/the coatings on the rear of the lens. they're fragile.
