really nice tom. how many did you take for this keeper?? flash????
f4 is pretty large for macro as the DOF is nothing but it does show how sharp and contrasty the tamron is at a large aperture.. thanx for posting.

f/4 is the best I could do because of the light, no flash and I took eight photos, all of which were nice color wise, but I had to pick the DOF I liked. I guess it could have been worse since the lens is a f/2.8 and then almost nothing would be in focus.

Wow! How do you ever get them to sit still long enough to pose like that? And that's a pretty moth - I don't think we have anything that pretty around here.

i'll soon know what you mean as i just did the BIN thing on ebay for a vivitar series 1 A105 f2.5..
