Wow, I am exhausted today, been out again in the hot sun, was out about three hours which isn't long really but I am absolutely shattered.

Anyway, hereis oneof today's shots.

It's been cropped, resized and sharpened, possibly increased gamma slightly too, not sure, can't remember! lol!

Enjoy and as usual, all comments welcome.

Another one.

This one has been resized and lightly sharpened, no other editing whatsoever.

Hope you like it.

A little robin

Ok, it was dark where the robin was so I experimented with using a faster iso (3200). Unfortunately the light area of the robin is overexposed, however, I resized, reduced the gamma slightly and lightly sharpened the pic. It's still overexposed but I do like the shot in itself.

Must learn how to use exposure compensation etc! lol!

Very nice photos. You nailed the dragonflies ( or are they damsels?)

Wow! Your dragonflies are awesome!

I can see why you like the robin photo, even with it's "flaws." I like it, too, just something about it...

Don't think they are dragonflies, the wings are folded.

Magnificent shots, very impressive (especially the first one).

I believe the red one is a Common Darter, not sure about the blue one, they are both types of dragon/damsel flies though, that's all I know about them unfortunately.

I will try and get some even better shots tomorrow, they don't stay still all that long and when they are still, that's when the wings tend to stay closed. The blue ones do fan out their wings every now and then, like they are sunning themselves but it's so brief that I miss it every time! lol!
