Lenses--Monarch and Flowers were the DA 50-200. The Catapillar used a Tokina 28-70 A lens with macro and manual focus.

Good shots! I disagree with Tom - butterflies might be greatIN a photograph, but I don't think they are greatTO photograph - I have only one half-way successful photo, after numerous attempts.

I love the butterfly shots, nice.

Can't really comment on the flowers as I'm not really into them! lol! If ya know what I mean.

I know what you mean. I made six or seven attempts to get shots of a really big swallowtail last night, but was never able to get close enough for a good shot. Monarchs seem to be much more tolerant of people in general.
