well the way I see is it that he has stated the advertised price, and if it was a mistake, why not change it when he could? Now I'm no lawyer, but I do have friends that study it and if they're stating a price and then not following through... that isn't really hunky-dory!

What would happen if you took it to ebay? Give a big :blah:to the scammer!

Are you still going to go ahead with the buy?

At $110 I'm still interested.

Brasher

I think your english is as bad as his. He is asking $109 US for one grip (includes postage) which is only 10 buck less the standard "Buy it Now" price.

We are still negotiating :-x

He has the most to lose, i.e. red -ve feedback and a complaint for deceptive and fraudulent advertising to eBay.

He has admitted it is his mistake and if it were in this country..too bad...the deal stands, his mistake.

Fair Trading and Practices Act here requires that he make good on the deal. I doubt that they have such a ruling in South Korea.

I do love these emoticons...:bye:

Fair enough Crashman, After looking at his E-bay Feedback and generally reading his sales pitches I would be in two minds about dealing with this fella too.

But If you do go ahead with the buy, drop me a message and I will be more than happy to buy one off you.

Cheers,
Chris.

He "seller" feedback is good, he is just a bad "buyer" :blah:

At the moment i am still negotiating and it is either "No Deal" or 2 Grips for US$99.00, which is not what was advertised, but better than 1 grip.

Fingers crossed..

Hey go easy on the guy!

Yeah, his English isn't great but I'm pretty sure he wasn't trying to decieve you and just made a genuine mistake.
The auction title has no mention of 3 items for one price, its obvious he's just listed it wrong.
BTW, the "$33 per item" is generated by eBay and not entered by him

It is confusing, I just listed an item on the German eBay. I'm familiar with selling on eBay UK/AUS/US but still had trouble and needed by girlfriend to help out (She's German)

It would be unfair to force him to sell you 3 items for the cost of 1 just because he made a genuine mistake.
If you don't want to take him up on the special offer then you should both contact eBay saying you both don't want to go ahead with the deal and they can sort it out.
That way he won't be lumped with fees and you won't risk getting a negative feedback for not paying up.

I told him "No Deal" "Please reject my bid" and he came back with an offer to drop the price. I am waiting to see what he wants to do.

I am not sure how eBay works from the seller side I have only ever bought. But from the way the ad reads, I am not sure how "1 Lot available (3 iteams each)" is a single typo!!

I don't want a single grip at US$99 or even US$89.
