Tonight's sunset was very interesting - the smoke from a brush fire 50 miles away was blocking the sun, making it very red. When I went outside, I foundthis visitor in the driveway. He certainly has excellent camouflage for the area (I had to adjust levels to try to bring him out of the background). I assume he's a jackrabbit.

P.S. - Taken with the 50-200 DA lens.

What a cutie! And the first one is a very nice shot of her/him/it.

Oh wow, I love both the shots, the first one especially. The second one is a good portrayal of him hopping off if that makes sense. Typical rabbit behaviour.

Rabbits are my favourite animal, I have four of them living with me, all indoors, ranging from very small to extra large! lol!

Nothing like capturing a shot of a wild one though, that's my next mission. Hehehe.

Not the best of photographs, and cropped for uploading here. Got this one last Sunday, probably its first outing from the burrow, it would easily have sat on the palm of my hand. DA 50 - 200 with kenko 2x.

That's a cutie, and a whole lot smaller than mine.
