A1 is the biggest ive done. Looks fine from a correct viewing distance, obviously if you get right up close you can see where the 6 MP isnt enough, but a print that large is not meant to be viewed closely

i've read and heard that the best viewing distance is 8x the diagonal of a photo or a painting. please correct me ..

i think its 2x the diagonal is what ive heard, I could also be wrong

diagonal on an 8x10 would be what?? i don't have a calculator with me but it'd be about 11-12''. i don't think you'ld want to view it at 22-24''. it would just be too close..

Yes, the diagonal of an 8X10 is 12 inches. I think I will try the A2 size, or maybe a little smaller.

I have been reliably informed it is 2 1/2 times the diagonal distance, the same as you would set the viewing distance for your new HUGE widescreen Plasma/LCD screen....:blah:
