wow, 6 minutes left on that now... only 42 dollars... I would go for that if I did not need a Tele lens right now.

Edit: Now it is over, sold for 62.

that was a steal with $7 shipping. this lens was made by komine. if you get one of these this is the maker of choice.. i would have scooped it up in a second if i hadn't just got the 105mm.

Hey Crashman

I got my Vivitar 135mm f2.8 for $9.95 Aussie, about $SU 7.50.

The postage cost more than the lens.

post something wide open from a little distance. i'm interested.. the takumar 135/2.5 is very soft until you get to about f8-11.. mine is the 52mmfilter size. i here the 58mm size is a wonder but i haven't seen it in the K mount..

Robar

I will post pics when I get the lens, it is coming for the other side of the planet..:G Sounds weird when you say it athat way..:blah:

Phil

I know AU$14.35 for the lens and AU $10.90 for postage.

Makes up for the last eBay purchase fiasco of those SG-1 Grips.

That matter is now with eBay disputes, they are on my side in that they agree that the mix up is the sellers not mine.

I had a mild case of LBA, but I feel much better now. I bought a 50mm SMC Macro Takumar off Ebay tonight for $68. It also included a set of three extension tubes. Since I shoot a lot of wildflower pics, I've been wanting to get away from having to use close-up filters. I favor the oldM42screw mount SuperTakumar lenses and will have 4 now to play with. If anyone is interested in doing macro, there is a second 50mm SMC Macro Takumarending in a couple of days. The bid right now is $10 on it, but I am sure it won't go for that. Anyway, once I get going withmynew (old)macro lens, I'll post some pics with it - Bruce

bruce,
don't you find it hard focusing when the lens is stopped down so far as required for macros??
