Hi,

56 and a DL user. Started out with an ME Super at age 31. Then a Fuji 602. The Fuji was great fun but I keep thinking about the flexibility of the SLR so this past spring … The DL and kit lens. I now have a Sigma 18-125 & 28-300.

hi everybody,

51 years old (but don't feel old yet, just my close focus needs a little help now and i don't zoom quite like i used to!) when dylan turned 30 i was appalled, now some of my best friends are in their 60's. perspective changes according to where you stand.

first serious camera was a k-1000 (in '91). got it to help with my drawing which i'd picked up after a long hiatus. dropped the drawing when idecided i might get to be a moderately good photograper but probably only a moderately poor artist . sold the k-1000 to finance an s602, got my dl this spring. still hav'n fun.:|

I'm 48, just learning to look for the reading glasses that always seems to be somewhere else.

:?39 this month! Pentax user for many years. My only SLR is the zx-7 35mm and getting ready for the K100d or *istD(something) as my first dSLR purchse. I'm loyal (sometimes to a fault), but Pentax has never disappointed and I LOVE using the real rebel brand (Pentax).

Kjell - I use one of those straps around my neck so I don't lose my reading glasses. It's very convenient, so much so that practicality won out over vanity- a friend of mine refers to them as "senility straps."

I'm 53 and it shows since I thought I had replied to this thread already.

Mike (mgedit) could I suggest you do a Poll to see the average age?

Edit

Ooops, I guess we can't do a poll here.
