I just got my Tamron 28-300 lens (135$ at Cameta camera on ebay.)

So I was out looking for birds, and as I walked towards the chirping I found a rabbit on the ground.

Handheld, 300mm...

Monopod, 300mm... (focus was off)

Thanks Ron. The closest thing to bald eagles I have in NJ is red tailed hawks... I will be on the lookout for those now.

Ahhh - it's cute! I went out trying to capture a smokey sky and ended up with a bunny - amazing how that all works out, isn't it?
