I wasn't going to post any more of this library, but its such a special place, and I thought the ceiling photos came out rather well. I hope that they convey to others just how wonderful of a place it really is. This first one is of the center part of the ceiling (you can see the round part in the previous photo). This was taken withthe manual24mm 2.8 lens wide open (resized, levels and USM - the lens is a bit soft wide open), and hand held (no flash).

This detail was taken with the DA 50-200 lens and is handheld also. Wish I could consistently hold the camera steady at this slow of a shutter speed! Resized, levels and very little USM. I promise not to post any more pictures of this reading room, just hope that I'm not the only one who thinks its amazing to find such a roof in a library in Los Angeles.
