Dr C.

The first one seems to be more focused on the side of the cats body rather than the eyes which are a bit soft.

I am not sure what aperture you had it on, but you might want to try a higher f stop like maybe f/8 to increase your DOF if you are wanting to have the whole cat in focus.

The second one is excellent as the focus is clearly on the eyes and the rest of the cat is soft focused. Nice of the little puddy tat to pose for you too. :bye:

Thanks, Crash, I'll give that a try for better focus on my next round with these willing models.

My comment was going to be that he looked a little ironed outhimself, not that he looked like he was going to do theironing.

I love the second one of the original two - thought the first one looked a little too devilish or fierce for me!

Nice image of the cat on the ironing board. One of the things I like about cats is finding them in the most unusual places.

Actually the first one is the most affectionate of the two. Her fierce look is totally deceiving! The second one is very shy. Other posts of these two are at http://www.pbase.com/drwindmill/forum
