I continue to be amazed by the Pentax 50-200mm lens, that I had been lead to believe was only a low cost, so-so lens. Here is an example photo. It really shows good sharpness and contrast.

The 50-200 is no so so lens. I've taken many photos with it that belie its frugal price. Very good lens. Here's one of mine I took with mine...cheers.....Don.

That is one great photo! Just like you I am very pleased with the Pentax 50-200mm lens. It is better than I thought it would be.

Awesome photo! I've also been very pleased with the 50-200 lens - its very sharp and has made me forget my broken Pentax F70-210. It's the one that stays on my camera when I'm just walking around.

Thanks Ron. I was lucky to get this shot. Just shows what this lens can do. It has to be one of the best lightweight zooms out there. I can't believe it sells for so little, but performs so well.....cheers......Don.
