hi guys.. i just purchased a ds2 last week and i'm very happy with it.. there's the mode 'bulb' for taking long exposures but we have to keep pressing the shutter release button.. it's fine for a 30 second exposure.. but when it comes to night photography ie. photographing stars, we have to hold it for like 1hr?? if i'm not mistaken there is a mode T with the older pentax SLRs that releases the shutter with a press of the button and another one to stop the exposure.. anyone with any idea??

p/s i'm all broke to buy the cable switch or the remote control.. haha~

do a search on this forum for cable switch. some folks have made their own pretty cheap and they've explained it really well and even included photos. i'm an electronic ignoramus but feel confident enough to try it (going to get the parts next time i'm in town).

all the best, eric
