I have two photos here. I like them both, but I want to frame one and can't decide which to use.

Here is number one. I like how well the reflections came out in the water. I went out in a boat to take this one, so the cabins are visible (mine all the way on the left).

I also like this one. I like how the reflections came out, but not as good as on the first one. I took it in the morning so the fish (visible in the bottom left) didn't swim away yet.

Also... this will be my first time ordering a print online. How does 'lustre' compare to 'glossy'.

Thanks

I really like the second one... the colors are really nice. It just seems cleaner and more tranquil to me too.

How big are you gonna have it printed in? If you dont mind, if you can take a picture of the picture when you hang it up.

I like the 2nd picture better. The color are more "cool" then the first one. I would print both, same size and hang them up at different time. The first one will work really well during the end of summer all the way to the begining of winter. Then switch it to the "cooler" colors of the 2nd one.

lustre is like a shiny matte.. slightly textured. I get all my prints done on lustre and i prefer it to gloss, but gloss prints should be sharper.

If its going behind glass get matt/lustre

I have to say the first one. There's more in it that grabs the eye and draws you in. The second one is nice but I only see trees and water. I don't feel a need to explore it as I do the first one.

I think this is a great idea, since I like both, I, too, would have a hard time deciding which one. The decorator in our house would more than likely ask me for both and split the time of display.

Thanks for all your comments.* I think I will print both (in lustre) and switch them from time to time or put them both in a larger split frame.

I can understand why you find it difficult to choose... Not that it is to any help, but anyway...
