I got to thinking after rereading the thread about everyone's age. The 1st camera that I owned was an old Spotmatic (age unknown)that I got at a pawn shop. On the spottie was a Kalimar 28-85mm 1-3.5 auto zoom f3.5-22 screw mount.

Now for the question, would it be worth the $15 (from Ebay) for a screw mount adaptor to get it to mount on my dl???

Any comments,as always, are more than welcome!!!

Thanks,

Ron

Its going to cost you a lot more than $15 if you buy the M42 adapter.

Because once you have the adapter you are going to really really start looking at M42 mount lenses and once you start, there is no going back because they are cheap and sharp and just great. :blah::blah:

So do you really really want to get serious M42 LBA :?

i'll bet that's right. i've yet to dwell into that stage, thank gawd.. prices on the older K mounts are hitting the ceiling on ebay.. prices on lenses you use to pick up for $40 are now going over a 100.. i think i may hate the DL....lol
