a mockingbird chick fell out of the tree in the frount yard.. wife says ''get the camera''. here's 3 with the 70-210. i went back with the 105 macro but haven't processed them yet.

taken at f2.5 but the cam rates it at 2.4.
trying to get just the eye in focus.

He's got that look again in your third one in the second lot, hahaha, what a cutie.

Was he alright after falling out of the tree?

Roy,
I love to have a mockingbird chick to pose for me while the parents are probably out hunting. No 1 & 3 are perfect. But I love No. 2 which would have been perfect if the all its head were in focus. Again that may not be possible to have the whole head in DoF. Great shots. You are having fun and it is right in your yard. My little yard in Toronto is hardly birdie friendly at all.

Number 5 is really a nice shot--eye coloration is nice
