The CN Tower, don't know if this has changed yet, but it's the tallest free standing structure in the world. At least used to be. It's still one of the tallest.

Yep! CN Tower, just celebrated 30 years in June and still remember the helix placing the last piece in place.

I like this shot, I especially like the tower in the distance going up into the cloud, must be one very tall building!

Definitely a moody shot, I like the sun glinting from the upper part of the tower. Great, especially for a grab shot.

Wonderful shot - sure makes my feet itchy (the last time I was in Toronto I was too young to remember it).

I'm only 32 so I wasa little too young to remember that. But I've been up to the upper observation deck and also walked outside on the lower observation deck. That was really something to see up there. I'm living in the Buffalo area now so taking a day drive up to Toronto pretty easy (only an hour and 1/2 away).

In all these years I've only been up there a couple of times but never on the outside and not been to the restaurant either.

These guys, including the CNT cheat because what gives them the height is the antenna - wouldn't you say it's cheating?

I was really lucky with this shot and it supports the saying that the best shot is not posed. I was tired from a trans-atlantic flight which started in the med, going thru customs and headed for a hotel downtown, traffic was horrible as there was a multi-caraccident ahead when a car drove under a trailer.

Anyway, I wasn't too tired to pick up the camera and shoooooooooooooooooot.

Thanks for your comments people.
