Beautiful bird, blue jays and robins are the only common birds hereto match that.

I especially like the first shot.

Thanks everyone. There's lots of them around here, but they're just hard to see. Most of the time they're hiding under the foliage in trees. You can hear them all over, but they don't perch out in the open too often. Beautiful bird. Little bandits I call them....cheers......Don.

More great bird photos! They certainly are interesting! I know nothing about birds but this weekend I kept hearing a bird call. I think it was a hawk but am not sure, and I didn't see it at all. How does one tell the difference between the sound of a hawk and something like a golden eagle (both of which are supposed to be around here, though I've only seen hawks myself).
