Pastor Rich, fantastic shots, incredible colour and detail. I need to get a little farther away from civilization, or at least someplace with a view.

Thanks very much, Ira.

I've been going there since I was 2 years old in 1952. My Great-Aunt owned it but it is my cousin's cottage now. Things have changed but the sunsets over Whitfish Point are always beautiful.

BTW in the opposite direction down the bay, my son asked his girlfriend to marry him 2 weekends ago. She said yes (which was good because it would have made for a messy weekend). With my son's permission, I took some shots with my telescope (120mm, 600mm focal).

If you look real close you can see them. (like Where's Waldo!)

Regards, Rich

I hope a couple of pics from a non-Pentax camera are allowed. Since ya'll have had this sunset thread going my wife and I have been catching the sunsets as often as possible. She took all of the pictures, these are my favorites. I think she is ready to move up to a better camera. This is the view we are blessed with from our back yard.

This sunset was not so great but I liked the way she composed it with the two rowboats.

OK, last one. I think the Kodak makes the colors a little bit richer than they really were, but not by much. This was Thursday night and those rays coming up behind the trees were really awesome. Except for resizing, all of these are as taken.
