I play drums on the weekend and this past week we didn't play so I bought my kit in to the basement for cleaning and tuning. I though "time for some pictures".



This was taken with my DL and Sigma 18-125. Shot at F4.5 Exposure 6 seconds, ISO 200, Exposure compensation 1+ & Tripod. The light was from a sliding glass door across the room with the shade half drawn. The picture is pretty much what I was seeing in the room. What do you think?

I think it's interesting - the colors help make it that way, along with a different point of view.

beautiful shot. reminds me of a well done sports car photo, all shiny chrome and polished paint.

minus the homes' background, if i made those drums i'd definitely want that photo in my brochure, its a great pic!

Boy, Does that bring Back some memorys!!
I also play the drums, although not actively. I jam every once and a while with My cousin and his band.

If i can find My picture Of my set at some point I will post It. I had a Sets of Ludwig Drums and added some Zildjian cymbols.

Anyway as the others have said Great lighting and color=Great Shot
