Patty - although this has been mentioned several times now, I think the only way for it to be sticky is if the moderators deem it worthy. So far this hasn't happened.

Glad to see this thread back again, as effectively using flash continues to be one of my biggest challenges. I tried the wireless mode on my K20d with the Sigma 500 Super flash this past week for the first time. I had always assumed that wireless mode meant some kind of signal was passing between the camera and the flash. It appears though, that the Sigma needs to "see" the onboard flash fire in wireless mode, just as it would in slave mode. Is this correct? If it is correct, what is the advantage/difference to wireless mode over slave?
