Hi Tom-

You will enjoy this. I was out on the deck shooting landscapes this morning with an 18-200mm lens. Along came a Heron. I have never see a Heron along our shoreline in the 8 years that we have lived here full time.

All I could do was zoom to the 200mm end of the lens and give it a try. It is a poor image because I had to enlarge it to about 250%. But you now have me reallywatching.

MT/Sarah

Your photos convince me of one thing, I gotta get to Alaska one day. Great photos. I really like the photo of the ram.

Outstanding photos! Tried to sell them to the Tourist Board?

WOW, great photos. They capture the feel that only being in ALASKA could. Thanks for sharing. On the top of my list of must see places.

Eric,

THANK YOU for posting those!! The falls shot is my favorite with the ram shot a very close second! The detail & lighting are fantastic! Add me to the list of those with Alaska on their list of places to go! Actually, my brother & sisters all want to go there also. God help us if one goes without the others!!!:lol:I want to do a cruise there for a couple of days & then go get lost for a week or so (figuratively speaking of course)!

Thanks again, sir!
Ron

Wow - wonderful photos. I miss a couple of days and get stuck having to look at these lovely pictures on the crummy work monitor again. Oh well...

You've definitely convinced me that Alaska would be a wonderful place to visit.
