Just got my first DSLR on Tue-after a lot or searching bought the DS-so far it has been great. Not crazy about the "Kit" lens. About 3 yrs ago sold all my Pentax 35mm equipment to get into digital. Bad mistake-could have used a lot of those lenses. This was take with a Tamron SP 70-210 3.5 that is about 12 years old. Uses the Adaptall 2 mount.

Oh no! Another person posting perfect butterfly photos! I'm really impressed, especially since you just got the camera.

Oh no! Don't STOP - not when you've whetted my appetite with such a lovely first beginning. All of you that post such lovely, wonderful butterfly pictures keep me trying whenever I see one. I haven't managed it, but if you-all don't post these, then I'll give up thinking that they are impossible!

I agree with Ira, I hope you were joking.

The photo is (pardon my french) bloody awesome.

I have never bothered to try and shot butterflies or any other little creatures, but then again my extension tubes haven't arrived from eBay yet either.:X
