Great Shot Alison

Grasshoppers are on my list of 'to capture' items. Simply finding them has eluded me to date. I can hear them, but can I see them.....

It was with the kit lens yes and I also used a +4 close up filter. No flash and not sure if it was at 45mm or what to be honest! lol! I should really check the exif info! lol!

I have found some heathland near me which I never even knew was there until a few weeks ago, there are loads of them there, can hear them. If I can't see them straight away, I use my walking stick to disturb the grass etc and they all start leaping about, then it's easy peasy! lol! One of these days I will disturb a snake knowing me! lol!
