Great shots, Rick! The detail on the butterflies & the milkweed are fantastic! The shots of the renovation remind me that I still haven't made it up to the fort that the state of Illinois just finished (ok last year). It was Lewis & Clark's starting point from Hartford, IL on their Corps of Discovery expedition.

Nice photos! Love the lighting on the milkweed, and there's another perfect butterfly (sigh). Thanks also for the history lesson - I occasionally take pictures of plaques of interesting places - they are fun to go back and read when you are looking at other shots. What's funny is that I've only begun to appreciate things like museums and books about birds as I've gotten older - did I ever miss out on a lotwhen I was younger!
