A co-worker has an extra one of these. I have tried it out on my DL and and am pretty happy with the results (see the attached photo) Just got a good learning curve on how to use it. My question is does anyone have a good idea of what a this lens might be worth?

Thanks for your help.

If it has "smc Pentax-A 1:2 50mm," then I have the same lens. It is handy to have in low-light conditions with no flash.

Considering I got it with a Pentax P3N and an Achiever TZ250 flash for $35 on eBay, my guess as to its worth is "not much."

Do not bet on its performance under low light condition as it is soft wide open. It may be ok after 5.6. I believe it was a stock lens that came with low end slr in the 70s. Its performance is a lot lower than other 50mm like 1.2, 1.4 or 1.7 both of which are legendary I would say.

Thanks for the input. Gotta admit, I don't know a lot about lens. Due to the low cost, I will likely grab it as currently all I have is the kit lens and another zoom. For the price, it might come in handy.
