Roy,
Looks like your post has been cut out. It happens quite a bit with this forum.
The cut-off happens after you re-submit a revised post.

daniel, nothing was cut out. i helped her spend about $1200 for her gear about 6 months ago.. from the images she's been posting i'd say it's paying off.

linda, i think the first bee shot is fantastic. it's also nice to see you over here. i really don't see anything wrong with the exposure in your first pix.

Such a good memory you have, master!!! LOL

Roy knew I wanted the istDs and helped me find that...and then of course he helped me find the lens I'm using ('cept for the old 55mm from my first Pentax). We did have fun shopping didn't we.

Maybe it's my monitor. I thought the original looked quite dark...but no one else does so maybe it's 'me'.

Thanks for the compliment Roy. It's fun getting back into this again.

Thank you... I have to admit those two photos are my favorites so far. I do appreciate the boost of confidence.

The second two pictures are VERY nice! It does take a while to figure out a new camera and to get the most out of it. I thought your first photo was fine, but sometimes I think the contrast is off a bit on my home monitor.
