I am also wondering how good the 28mm/2.8 is. I bought the Tokina RMC II, for $18 yesterday. I dont know if it is the same quality or if it is the same as the non II lense.

I havent taken any shots from it yet because I got it last night. I will post up some shots later today with my new toy.

Here is a picture that I took with my Tokina RMC II 28mm f2.8

No PS, just resized.

If I did this right, this is 100% crop.

Hi superakuma

Looks like you have got a keeper there! Hmm... wondering how much different between the RMC and RMC II... I have seen a Tokina RMC 28mm/2.8 for US$39 online...

I might just see how the 17mm turns out before I consider the 28mm.

cheers,
Kenny

I have an RMC Tokina 80-200mm for my old Nikon EM.

Even with some very light fungus inside it still takes decent pictures.

Enjoy your new lens!
