Hi all,

Does anyone know if Tokina RMC lenses are the same as Tokina SL lenses? I have been doing some search online but all the Tokina current lenses don't carry RMC designation anymore and not much detailed info on them when you found something.

Thanks

Kenny

Kenny

Sorry I have two Tonkina RMC manual lenses and I think they are sharp and clear, I can't help you out on the SL versions.

Hi Crashman

Thanks for your reply. Do yo happen to know anything about the Tokina RMC 17/3.5 and Tokina RMC 28/2.8?

Cheers,
Kenny

Thanks Crashman. Do you happen to have any photos taken with Tokina 17/3.5 available online for me to have a look?

Cheers,
Kenny

I also have the 17mm 3.5, and agree with Crashman - it is very sharp, a good lens. I don't have any pics right off hand, but can take one tomorrow with it and post it (it is night now, and I need to have a wide angle)

I have been busy with other things and not used the lens extensively yet and now my camera is in being repaired

This was taken the other week.

Hi Crashman

Looks pretty sharp! I have just bought it and now it is on its way to me from US! Hopefully I should get it early next week but then I am doing a course so probably won't have time to use it until the weekend =(

Thanks again

Kenny
