I'm just wondering, would a split screen from a Spotmatic, ME or Rollei work on a istD????

They would be too large. It may be possible to cut them down to dSLR size (which is what Ischi does with Minolta X700 screens) but would require a high degree of accuracy in the cutting method.

I finally got around to installing the screen from Ischi in my DL. Wow! This is a whole lot better. I got the one with the smaller circle but it still works very well. I wouldn't mind trying the larger split circle some time.

This makes MF lenses so much more enjoyable.
