Pretty soft opened up, and abit hard to focus manually

Last one. I guess I'll use the lens, but it will have to be in more controlled situations where I can spend some time setting up for it.

these are a little soft. not up to your usual. the problem with the sears lenses is that a lot of them were really GREAT lenses produced by some great manufacturers, BUT,you never know.. buying one is a flip of the coin.. what are your thoughts??

Well, for $15 it's pretty hard to go wrong. The lens is "supposed" to be a portrait lens, and I will have to try shooting some with it this winter.

$15 and you have a steal.. they are good images but not up to your par. guess i've gotten use to you..
