At work I change mine on almost a daily basis, choosing any of a couple thousand I have resized for my work computer. Hate having the same thing on my desktop for more than a couple of days.

That's actually the best photo I have seen of a Wasp Spider! Have seen a few but most are pretty fuzzy. I tried to photograph one with very little success the other week so gave up.

Well done you for getting a good clear shot, was it in the undergrowth? That's where I've seen them and there is always long grass or something obstructing the view and I will NOT touch anywhere near them to move things out of the way as I cannot stand spiders! rofl!

Thank you Alison.

Don't really like spiders either, so shot this with the 50-200 kit lens.

The web was in the open.

here that's a common garden spider. best spider in the world to have around. all it does is eat and eat and eat insects i've seen them the size of my hand. i also know people that try to transfer them to better places to build their webs..
