the background is just too distracting
otherwise i would not have cropped that

Nice shot, I have always liked longer lenses for portrait lenses for their ability to blur the background.

also i was like 15 ft away and the subject is not always disturbed

also the lens is 3" with a small 52" filter

my favorite and stealth lens

it is a work horse consistently providing foolproof performance.

i know FA*85 with a huge hood would have alarmed any subject - i cannot afford it anyway
