I like the 2nd one. It's sharp as a tack and you've got soem really nice light bouncing around the background

The milkweed one is very nice too

First of all excellent catch. This is NOT a critique, would you say it is over-exposed - the first but not the second image.

The D is perfect but the BF is such a lovable creature and I suppose that's why they don't stick around long enough. (LOL)

Actually, the first photo is one that I "saved" --it was very underexposed and the shadows rendered the color in the lower part of the wings almost black. I didn't spend a lot of time working it--could probably get a better result if I really took some time with it.
