I was told yesterday that lens cleaning paper was NOT wood-free and I should start using the micro fibre cloth.

I don't like the cloth because dust and dirt gets stuck on it. I visited an optometrist but their wood-free cleaning paper is expensive. Any comments or suggestions???

Roy, I ain't cheap but they're expensive and truth is, I don't trust them even though they're the "in" thing these days.

I got some pre-moistened paper from Wally yesterday and the things are dry - taking them back today.

I have my isopropanol so I'll get some dry ones at a medical supplies store. I still don't trust lens pens, just like I don't micro fibre cloth. Too afraid of dust getting stuck. The other stuff I just throw away.

Q: They talk about wood-free these daysbut was the paper we used in the 60 and 70 not wood-free?
