It appears the forum just hates Safari, I guess I'll just have to use Firefox when I want to post here from now on, I've edited this too now.

Well today the camera arrived via Express shipping (much to my surprise as this was FREE shipping). I could hardly contain my excitement while setting everything up. I would firstly like to thank the people on this forum for convincing me that the K100D was worth the extra $100; I am not disappointed.I decided to post some of the best of my first round of photos + 1 question.

Q) My mom's Pentax-M 1:2 50mm is (obviously) a 50mm lens not automatically compatible with the Shake Reduction feature of this camera. In such an instance the camera asks you to input the focal length of the lens so the SR can work. I was wondering whether I am to set it to 50mm or since dSLR's crop factor if I am to set it higher (75mm)? Thanks!

On to the photos. I shot it JPEG *** today but I do want to try RAW out sometime. I have a whole bunch of photos I could show you but I'll limit myself to a few. All shot with the 18-55 Kit Lens.

1) Shutter: 1/180, Aperture: f 5.6, FL: 55mm, ISO: 200

No Daniel, I'm not high; that's just what my mom has always called it and this has been her house since she was a kid.* When you look at the whole thing it looks like it's growing little puffs of smoke, pretty cool.

Careful Kjell - the US hasn't gone metric yet - they may think you're calling them uncivilised. Besides, personally, I still use inches.

Roy is correct Shift+Enter will give you a single line istead of a carriage return of two lines.

I'm not sure if its just me but they seem out-of-focus with the exception of the tomatoes. No offense.
