my DS came with plenty already installed. dust that is..

i see also that i'm not the lone ranger when it comes to taking shots of stuff laying around.. one of my favorites is those little computer screws. plenty of detail and contrast. i've probably taken a hundred or so..

Congratulations, Daniel-

Enjoy your K100D! I really agree that the the SR feature is very effective and the extended Dynamic Range is really noticeable.

Well Daniel, I'm sold, these pictures are even sharper than your usual posts. I want one.

For the 2nd I would definitely have trouble. Handheld and subject 300 ft away.

I should also have waited for K10D. But it will still be several months before the first couple of review come out positive particularly about the potentially noisy 10M sensor.

Roy,

They are for test shots with inclement weather around . Ira used to tease me about pots and pans pict (stuff around type) winter time.

Very nice! The K100D is such a FUN camera, just don't do what I have been doing recently - I've been trying to take pictures on the fly and while the SR does a good job, it does have limits. I've got to go back to the basics and quit trying to take pictures on the fly. Of course, you don't need me to say that - your photos are always so incredible, you'd never do something like that.
