OK, I am shopping for a DSLR. I intend to be making some large prints, perhaps as large as two by three feet. The K100D appeals to me, but I am not sure if 6mps is enough to do this job. Have any of you tried making prints in this ball-park from the K100D? What were the results like?

well, I believe A3 prints shouldn't be a problem, some say you can go up to A2 with 6MP, but I personally wouldn't risk that.

If you wait about 1 more month, the Pentax K10D (10 MP) will be announced in september, it might suit your needs a little better.

I have just had some 13''x 19'' prints made for a local dealers stand at a motorsport expo and they are beautiful!!!!

They look as pin sharp as smaller prints, and I could not find any evidence of pixelation even though I examined them closely with the naked eye.

The images themselves had been cropped so the results are even more impressive.
