Went out looking for a hummingbird hawkmoth today and guess what, I actually found one.

Only managed to get one shot before he disappeared and had camera shake slightly so I cropped to get rid of some of the background, then I resized smaller than normal and sharpened.

Ha, bit of a sore point at the moment, having problems getting hold of anything larger than 300mm. I'll get one though, one way or another.

Alison, you've done it again!

Be patient about that 300+ mm lens. Remember, the opportunity comes like a snail and dissappears like a deer!
